The family of Edward Kody L. Bobadilla will celebrate his life of 23 years at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at Christ the King Cathedral. We will gather to recite the Holy Rosary Monday at 6:00 pm followed by a reception at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. He passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020. You are encouraged to sign the virtual guestbook and share memories and expressions of sympathy by selecting the icon.Edward Kody was born on January 14, 1997, to Henry and Mary Anne Bobadilla in Lubbock, Texas. He went to school at Christ The King Cathedral School and then moved to Lubbock ISD. Edward graduated from Lubbock High School in 2015. He went to college in the Philippines and came back to Lubbock. Edward planned to return to the Philippines to pursue education. He had a desire to teach English abroad in Asia.  For those who knew Edward, he was a fun-loving kid who loved music.Survivors include his parents, Henry and Mary Anne Bobadilla; siblings, Elyzza, Sharlene, and Katherine Bobadilla; maternal grandmother, Rosa Lacasandile; and paternal grandmother, Lilia Bobadilla; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Avelino Bobadilla, maternal grandfather, Apolinario Lacasandile; and aunt, Monic Lacasandile.

First of all, words are not enough to express our gratitude to Mr. Santos Moreno and all the staff of Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. They went above and beyond, making our sorrow and pain more bearable. Their exceptional service, taking care of our needs and guiding us during those difficult and confusing moments will never be forgotten. They will hold a special place in our hearts.
