He married Maria Hernandez on June 29, 1991, at San Francisco de Assisi Catholic Church in Wolfforth, Texas. Eduardo endured many hardships in life, but always found a way to keep moving forward, something he instilled in each of his children. No matter how hard life got, he always made sure that his family was provided for. He insisted on family Sunday dinners to begin the new weeks on a new foot. He was a very private man and never wanted anyone to worry about him or what was going on in his personal life, but loved to tell everyone about each of his children and their accomplishments. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it and never expected anything in return. He supported each of his kids on every endeavor that they set out on. Eduardo will be remembered as a hard working, supportive, loving, caring, and providing dad, husband, brother, and friend.Survivors include his wife, Maria Salas of 30 years; their children, Melanie Gonzalez, Eduardo Lee Salas, Ricardo Luis Salas (Ricky), Monica Diane Salas; expectant grand-daughter; siblings, Hortencia and Ferman Ochoa, Sylvia Salas, Margie Grimaldo, Joe and Elsa Salas, Junior Salas, Lucy and Abraham Chavez.Eduardo is preceded in death by his parents, Sesario and Eloisa Salas, Lupe Villareal, Frank Salas, Tony Salas, and Robbie Salas.
