Doralva “Lolly” Jasso Medrano was born to Blas and Isabelle Jasso on Aug. 15, 1962.  Lolly was a loving and caring wife and mother who dedicated her life and her heart to her family. She always trusted her faith in God and always knew He would provide for her.

She would spend hours in the kitchen, especially during the holidays, listening to music, making tamales, and making sure her family didn’t eat them all at once.

Lolly looked forward to getting together with her family. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She said she always wanted a big family and always said the Lord blessed her with a big family, all different, but she knew what she had.

Lolly is survived by her husband of 46 years, Carlos Medrano; children: Erica Medrano, Kevin Medrano (Mayra Cano), Dylan Medrano (Melissa Mata), Eric Medrano (Elaine Maldonado), and Abriana Medrano; grandchildren: Marina (Joshua) Molina, Alyssa Romero, Daniel Romero, Natalya Romero, Caleb Banda, and Erza Medrano; great-grandchildren: Elena Molina, Laila Fitzgerald, Bellamy Fitzgerald, and Arya Molina.

Doralva “Lolly” Jasso Medrano was 61 years old and sadly left us on Feb. 19, 2024.

Mass will be held in her honor at 10am on Monday Feb. 26th at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church (6104 66th St, Lubbock, TX 79424).
