I am Freddy Jones and played American Legion baseball with Donald. I admired him even in those days in 1953 and 1954 when he played right field and I played center field for Joe Spikes in Lamesa. In a day when most teen age boys spoke in a degrading way about girls he always spoke in the most admiring terms of the character of his girl friend. I was not involved in any other way with him but came away with a life's lesson about how to treat females.Regards and sympathy to his family.Fred Jones of Midwest City, OK Jonessfred@aol.com
