The word genuine only applies in special situations. The word man is used to describe one who represents all that is strong and resilient . The word Father means he sacrifices all for his family. Don Heathington was genuine to all who knew him. He was a man’s man – and a family man. I will miss him.

Dani, I’m so sorry to hear if Don’s passing. You and the kids are in our prayers. If I would have looked on Facebook earlier I would have come to see you. You both were there for us way back when my grandparents passed and y’all were so caring to us. It’s been since ’85 but I’ve never forgotten you both.
