Our beloved sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 8, 2009. Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers will host a gathering of friends and family to remember her life of 58 years, Wednesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A service of celebration will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Monterey Church of Christ.
She was born on July 18, 1950 in Lubbock to David and Verna Enger. Dixie married Eric Williams on August 15, 1975 in Lubbock. She was an active member of Monterey Church of Christ. Dixie enjoyed cooking, reading, playing Bunko, and doll collecting. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Eric; children, Christi Diane Garay and spouse, Abraham of Houston, Leslie Lynn Williams, and Cody Neil Williams both of Lubbock, Brian Biells and spouse, Tracy of Midland; siblings, Diane Enger of Hurst and Keith Enger and spouse, Beth of Colleyville; brother-in-law, Larry Williams; grandchildren, Anna Leigh Bielss, Isaac Martinez, Alex Estala, Joshua Bielss, Jacob Bielss and Ethan Garay.
