Pam, I have such wonderful memories of our fun times in school. Dewain was a great person to be around. The two of you were double the fun. You and your family are in my prayers. I truly sorry for your loss.

I will always remember Dewain as the boy in high school who always, always, smiled at me. It is amazing what a simple smile can mean to someone. I'm happy for Dewain that his time of suffering is over, but I'm so sorry for the family that your time with him on earth has come to an end. May the Holy Spirit comfort you all.

My sincere condolences to Dewain's family and friends. I went to grade school, jr high and high school with Dewain and Pam. While I left Lubbock in 1967 and only connected with Pam recently through Facebook, I want all his family to know I always thought Dewain a wonderful, fun, and interesting boy and young man. I didn't know him as an adult, but character lives on! When I knew him, he had lots of energy, was kind, and enjoyable.. It's obvious from these beautiful tributes and memorial tribute that he had a very full life with many loved ones and made lasting positive impacts to all. He obviously made a strong commitment to the Lubbock community. I am so sorry for your loss and please know he touched even more lives than you may know, including mine.
