A service to celebrate the life of Deborah Lynn St. Clair’s 69 years of life is scheduled at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Southcrest Baptist Church. Deborah was born August 8, 1953, to Joe Pat and Jerie Wagnon in Lubbock, TX. She married Johnny St. Clair on June 30th in 1972, it was a beautiful garden wedding at her parents’ home. They recently celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Deborah was an extremely accomplished teacher, she was a Special Education instructor, had her master’s in educational leadership, was an Instructional Coach and Ard Facilitator as well as a mentor to many teachers and administrators in Mesa AZ, Waco TX, and Lubbock TX. Deborah and Johnny were also successful small business owners who had multiple companies that also involved their children. She was a member of SouthCrest Baptist Church, where she was a member of her Sunday School Class, sang in the Choir, and spent time on the Worship Team. Service was very important to her and she volunteered at Meals on Wheels, CPS, CASA, Operation Christmas Child, and Lubbock Impact. Her greatest act of selflessness was the way she served her own family.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Johnny St. Clair; mother, Jerie Flowers; children, Amanda St. Clair, Damon (Crystal Zamora) St. Clair; grandchildren, Bailey (Ethan) Simmons, Ethan Adams, Jeremiah Adams, Cash St. Clair; sister, Tyree (Bobby) Green; She was an aunt, cousin, friend and chosen sister in Christ to many.

She is preceded in death by her father, Joe Pat Wagnon.

Mom and I are very saddened to hear the news about Deborah’s passing. We have wonderful memories of her. Our hearts are with you at this time. We love you.

Deborah was a beautiful Christian young woman and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Johnny, your family has suffered great losses the last several years, and your faith has seen you through. Cling to that faith now as never before. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all your family.

Deborah and Johnny were our first friends in Arizona. We had just moved from Illinois in 1983 and we rented a house next to them in Mesa, AZ, We became fast friends and spent many fun times together with them and their children. Deborah's passing was a shock to us and our children. We have many great memories of her and times with her family.

Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

My dear forever friend…I love you and will miss you. Deborah was my best friend during high school. We had so many wonderful times together. She was a wonderful friend to many. Prayers to all her family.

I think about the times that I spent with Deborah as youngsters, cousins, and friends — as well as these latter years. I have known for a long time about Deborah’s commitment to the Lord, but until recently, it was revealed that she and Jerie Nell were such awesome servants for Christ — always helping, giving, serving, smiling. I love them both for many reasons but especially because they are and have been such shining examples in this way. In My Heart Forever!♥️

We were so sad to hear of Deborahs passing. We were looking forward to our class dinner , to renew our friendships, now we will have to renew sweet memories. She will be missed, but the memories of her will live on through us all. God be with the family and bring peace to you all.

My heart is just broken to hear that Deborah has left us. She was one of the special young girls in our class and we will miss her so much at our Class Reunions. She was always there to be with us. Prayers for Johnny, Amanda, Damon, Jeri Nell and Tyree and the Grandchildren!!
