A service to celebrate the life of Deborah Lynn St. Clair’s 69 years of life is scheduled at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Southcrest Baptist Church. Deborah was born August 8, 1953, to Joe Pat and Jerie Wagnon in Lubbock, TX. She married Johnny St. Clair on June 30th in 1972, it was a beautiful garden wedding at her parents’ home. They recently celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Deborah was an extremely accomplished teacher, she was a Special Education instructor, had her master’s in educational leadership, was an Instructional Coach and Ard Facilitator as well as a mentor to many teachers and administrators in Mesa AZ, Waco TX, and Lubbock TX. Deborah and Johnny were also successful small business owners who had multiple companies that also involved their children. She was a member of SouthCrest Baptist Church, where she was a member of her Sunday School Class, sang in the Choir, and spent time on the Worship Team. Service was very important to her and she volunteered at Meals on Wheels, CPS, CASA, Operation Christmas Child, and Lubbock Impact. Her greatest act of selflessness was the way she served her own family.
Deborah is survived by her husband, Johnny St. Clair; mother, Jerie Flowers; children, Amanda St. Clair, Damon (Crystal Zamora) St. Clair; grandchildren, Bailey (Ethan) Simmons, Ethan Adams, Jeremiah Adams, Cash St. Clair; sister, Tyree (Bobby) Green; She was an aunt, cousin, friend and chosen sister in Christ to many.
She is preceded in death by her father, Joe Pat Wagnon.
