Debbie Boen went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 8, 2022. Debbie’s family will celebrate her life of 66 years at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel. Her family will host a time of fellowship and remembrance from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. On October 4, 1955, Debra JoAnn was born to Roy and Alma Stone in Lubbock, TX. She married Jim Boen on February 14, 1977, in Lubbock, Texas.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Boen; their children, Brittany (Zane) Vaughn; stepdaughter, Mundy (James) Boen Petroff; grandchildren, Skyler Falcon, Kaely Smith, Bruce Lozano, Rustin Boen, Makenna Vaughn, and Reagan Vaughn; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Jackie Thomas.

She was preceded in death by parents, Roy Stone and Alma Wimberly; son, Shane Smith; and sister, Jeanne Smith.

The family of Debbie Boen has designated Lubbock Meals and Wheels for memorial contributions donated in her memory.
