The family of David “Skoot” Carrillo, Sr. will celebrate his life of 72 years at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 12, 2021, at Lake Ridge Chapel. He married Margarita Carrillo on February 26, 1965, in Seguin, Texas. They were married for 55 years, and he loved and adored his wife very, very much. David was a loyal fan of the greatest team in the nation, THE DALLAS COWBOYS. He was a friend to all and a stranger to none. He loved to spend family time and always loved to bbq with family and friends. David was always willing to lend a helping hand. He had many close friends in his journey of life and remembered each and every single one of them, from his coworkers to his softball buddies, and especially his drinking buddies. He loved his sons very much and adored his daughter in laws. He loved all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also had a special place in his heart for his niece Maria. Words can not express how deeply David will be missed.Survivors include his wife, Margarita Carrillo; their children, David (Blanca) Carrillo, Noel (Angelica) Carrillo, Aaron (Esme) Carrillo, Raleigh (Melissa) Carrillo, and Jason (Dolores) Carrillo; siblings, Augustine Carrillo Jr, Carlos (Estella) Carrillo, Rudy (Rosa) Carrillo; Alicia Carrillo-Oliva (Ernesto Castano), Tina (Louis) Torres. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Crystal (Joshua) Mecalco, Priscilla Santana, Amber Hernandez, Amanda Carrillo & Felicia Ramirez, Alanna (Anthony) Velasquez, Ryan (Pheenix) Carrillo, Anyssa Carrillo, Koi Carrillo, Julio Moreno III, Vanessa (Franky) Borrego, Casarah Perez, Kayley Aguirre, Naomi Aguirre, Daniel Aguirre, Krystal (Louie) Garcia, Corey (Crystal) Colmenero, Johnathan (Yvonne) Guitierrez, Eric (MaryAnn) Guitierrez, and Matthew (Jerika) Guitierrez and great-grandchildren, Qiara Cobbs, Joshua Mecalco Jr, Yesenia Mendez, D’Anthony Mendez, Zavian Perez, Araceli Velasquez, Joel Velasquez Jr, Selah Carrillo, Nolan Carrillo, Ariana Jade Moreno, Zayden Riley Moreno, Noah Borrego, Micah Borrego, Mila Borrego, Rafe Pando, L-Jai Garcia, Ivan Garcia, Sunrose Santos, Johnathan Santos, Zaylee Guitierrez, Harleigh Guitierrez, Kingston Guitierrez, Matthew Guitierrez, Michael Guitierrez, Mia Guitierrez, and Mark Guitierrez.Mr. Carrillo was preceded in death by his parents, Augustine (Alicia) Carrillo, Sr.; a brother, Ricky Carrillo; and his grandparents, Nativida (Conchita) Hernandez.
