On January 17, 1942, Daniel Irvin was born to Daniel and Lela Boone in Big Spring, TX. He married Robin Coy on September 6, 1969. Daniel was a loving and supportive husband to Robin for 52 years. He helped raise his two daughters with unconditional acceptance and love. He taught them the value of hard work and to view life through the lens of laughter. He had many close relationships throughout his life but particularly cherished the ones with his nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. In 1986, he realized his dream of owning an auto parts store. His greatest loves included: golf, road trips, backyard barbecues, the Dallas Cowboys, and time with friends and family. Daniel devoted himself to taking care of those he loved and was well respected and adored by everyone lucky enough to know him.

Survivors include his wife, Robin Boone; their children, De’An (Rick) Tate, Emily (Scott) Hearn; grandchildren, Nicona (Chris) Castillo, Rex (Celene) Barnes, Nic (Kelli) Tate, Tabitha Hearn, Nick Hearn, Elizabeth Hearn, Sophia Danielle Hearn; great-grandchildren, Cayden Castillo, Carson Castillo, Adilen Barnes, Caylee Castillo, Amelia Barnes, Paisley Barnes; brother, Dalvin (Jean) Boone; sister-in-law, Jeanne Dennis.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Boone Sr.; his mother, Lela Boone.
