Cynthia Dee was born on August 3, 1950 to Richard and Dolores Dobesh Kaelin in Grand Island, Nebraska. Survivors include her siblings, Brad Kaelin and wife, Janet, Karolyn King and husband, Stanley, Rebecca Veach and husband, Rob, J. D. Kaelin and wife, Dawn, Paul Kaelin and wife, Janna, Greg Kaelin and wife, Kathy; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Matthew Kaelin.In her first year of life, she was awarded the “Pretty Baby” award for Grand Island, Nebraska. That beauty continued over her lifetime in her love for teaching children and her deepening walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. She grew up in multiple cities as her father transferred multiple times for work moving from Nebraska to South Dakota and ultimately to Texas in 1963 where she lived out the rest of her life. Cyndee began as an elementary teacher in Ft. Stockton, TX for several years and spent 27 years in the Lubbock ISD as a speech pathologist working with many challenged children and relishing their growth and development.
