Cruz M. Ramirez

“Cruz was born on May 3, 1940 to Felipe and Maria (Perez) Montemayor in Lampasas, TX. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Cruz worked as a cashier for Walmart and enjoyed traveling.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Oscar Ramirez; and a brother, Gonzalo Montemayor.

Cruz is survived by a son, Raul Ramirez; a daughter, Esmeralda (James) Booher; six grandchildren, Dominique (Erik) Velez, Veronica (Augustine, Jr.) Medina, Joshua Ramirez, Gabriella Ramirez, Danielle Ramirez, and Jamison Ramirez; two brothers, Danny Montemayor, and Ruben (Yolanda) Montemayor; and eight sisters, Porfiria Reyna, Josie Morales, Maria (Locadio) Mojica, Jean Montemayor, Felipa (Johnny) Ramirez, Adelaida Montemayor, Janie Casanova, and Nellie Montemayor.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Catholic Charities of Lubbock.”
