Cindy Sewell Johnson

A service to celebrate the life of Cindy Sewell Johnson’s 64 years of life is scheduled at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 11, 2023, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers, followed by a simple visitation and fellowship with family and friends at the home of Mary Sewell, 6825 Huron Ave., Lubbock, Texas.

Cindy died on Monday, August 7, 2023, at 11:26 a.m. She was born December 18, 1958, to Howard Woodman Sewell and Mary Catherine (Hitt) Sewell in Lubbock, TX. Cindy was a loving and caring angel that was good at making everyone laugh. She retired from Walmart and enjoyed an almost 19-year career as a massage therapist in Lubbock, TX. She enjoyed crafting and creating. She had a nurturing personality and was greatly cherished by her loved ones and friends. She will truly be missed.

Cindy is survived by mother, Mary Sewell; son, Robert Sewell; siblings, Jeff Sewell, Kelly (Teresa) Sewell, Valerie Sewell, Maureen Sewell, Woody (Tammy) Sewell; nephews, and nieces, Christopher (Kyla) Lollis, Michael (Ashley) Lollis, Evan Sewell, Ian Sewell, Oran Sewell, Upton Sewell, Bryce (Summer) Hamrick, Caitlen Sewell-Marshall, Caleigh Sewell-Marshall; three great nephews, Silas, Braxton and Jake; and one great niece, Remi.

She is preceded in death by her father, Howard Woodman Sewell.
