Chris Perschnick

On May 5, 1975, Christopher Rex was born to Johnathan and Margaret Perschnick in La Brea, CA. After graduating from high school, he served in the Marine Corps. He met Julia Cherryhomes in 1998 and he married her on January 2, 2004, at Lubbock County Courthouse.  After moving to Lubbock, he attended South Plains College where he received an associate degree in automotive service technology. Prior to attending LCU, he worked as a mechanic. He graduated from Lubbock Christian University (LCU) with a bachelor’s in criminal justice. He was a loving father and husband.

Survivors include his wife, Julia Perschnick; children, John Perschnick, Thea Perschnick; father-in-law, Dale Cherryhomes; mother-in-law, Lynda Cherryhomes; sister-in-law, Lisbeth Cherryhomes; father, Johnathan Perschnick; brother, Russell Perschnick.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Perschnick.
