The family of Chester Brandt Campbell will host a gathering of family and friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, March 11, 2024, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. A service to celebrate his life of 84 years is scheduled at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers, followed by a graveside service at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Chester Brandt Campbell was born on May 28, 1939, to Jasper and Willie Mae Campbell in Cleburne, TX. He married Shirley Lambert on June 21, 1959, at the First Baptist Church in Tahoka, Texas. Chester farmed and worked for Campbell Grain Company for 3 years before moving to Lubbock to start a 20-year career with Farm Pac.  He bought rental property while he worked at Farm Pac which turned into Campbell Properties, a family business he built up with his two sons, Randy and Scott, and grandson, J’Cody.

Chester is survived by Shirley Campbell; children, Randy (Debra) Campbell, Scott (Lisa) Campbell; grandchildren, Tasha (Jonathan) Garcia, Krista (Daniel) Klein, J-Cody (Lindsey) Campbell, Zack (Stacy) Campbell, Cassi (Kyle) Fields; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Sue (Bill) Weaver, Cindy (Willie) Ship, Cherry (Jimmy) Carter.

He is preceded in death by parents, Jasper and Willie Mae Campbell.

Chester Campbell died on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the caregivers from Visiting Angels for taking such great care of Chester the last few months.
