She married Bob Hunter on May 30, 1981, in Lubbock, Texas, at Trinity Church. This year was to be their 40th anniversary.Charlotte’s family moved from Stillwater, OK, to Lubbock, where she went through the Lubbock school system and graduated from Coronado High School in 1971. After high school, she entered nursing school, where she achieved her LVN license. Her major nursing jobs included working at the Children’s Clinic on Avenue Q for Dr. Robert Carr for eight years and then another three years after working as a school nurse at Trinity Christian School for six years. After Dr. Carr retired, Charlotte went to work for Dr. Suzanne Beck, Allergy & Asthma Clinic of West Texas. Dr. Beck was just starting her practice, and Charlotte was her first employee. Charlotte worked there for almost 27 years until she retired.Charlotte deeply loved all her family, friends, co-workers, church, and most of all, God, her Heavenly Father. If she was around you very much, she would remember who you were from then on. Charlotte could hardly go anywhere in Lubbock that she didn’t run into someone she knew. If you had needs, she would try to meet them if she could and certainly prayed for those needs.Survivors include her husband, Bob Hunter; children, Jimmy (Angela) Moore, Heather (Stuart) Houston; grandchildren, Brittany Moore, William DeForest, Christina DeForest, Emily Houston, Makenzie Manns, Jacob Biggerstaff; great-grandchildren, Haidyn Graybill, Tatum Manns, Liam Hall; siblings, Alice (David) Mitchell, James (Victoria) Bilbro, Joe (Liz) Bilbro. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Bilbro, and grandson, Seth Bowling.
