Dr. Charles Samuel Williams

Dr. Charles Samuel Williams passed away on March 27, 2020. Sam was born on January 3, 1932, to Charley and Delitha Williams in Phoenix, Arizona. Sam married Amanda Shaw Williams on April 26th, 1993, in Lubbock, Texas.  Sam attended Arizona State University, where he played football as a fullback, before being commissioned to serve in the U.S. Air Force as a C-47 pilot.  After his honorable discharge in 1959, he later went on to earn two Ph.D. degrees in clinical hypnotherapy.  For nearly 40 years, Sam dedicated his life to developing metaphysical insight while providing therapy and spiritual guidance to enhance the lives of others by helping them to realize their value in the world — whether as patients, friends, and sometimes both.  Sam was generous, compassionate, and ever mindful of the love owed to all of God’s creatures.Survivors include his wife, Amanda; three daughters, Stacee Morgan, and husband, Michael; Cyndi Brookshire, and husband, Don; Shery Roussarie; a niece, Melissa, whom he considered his own daughter; two sons, Matthew and Jonathan Clark; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Delitha; two sisters, Maxine and Corinne; and the mother of his daughters, Caroline Jo.
