The family of Chad Daniel Whisenant, will host a gathering of family and friends from 6 PM until 8 PM on Tuesday, May 23rd at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. A service to celebrate his life of 41 years is scheduled at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Levelland, followed by a graveside service at Resthaven Memorial Park. Chad Daniel Whisenant was born May 24, 1981, to Danny and Judy (Hope) Whisenant in Dallas, TX. No parents have ever been prouder of their child. They taught him to love God fiercely, to love others unreservedly, and to work with dedication and integrity. He married Ashley Beck on October 17, 2009, in Levelland, TX, and they lived in Lubbock, TX until his passing. Chad and Ashley were best friends who shared the pleasures of their lives and walked through trials hand-in-hand. Their love story will live on through the lives of their two sons, Ryder and Nolan, who were his greatest pride and the light of his life.

Friends and family will remember Chad for his perseverance. He showed tremendous courage as he faced life’s challenges, and he never quit or complained when he faced difficulty. He was meticulous, and whatever he did, he did with precision and care. Chad was exceptionally generous and always willing to lend a hand to those in need. He was a great listener with a sneaky sense of humor.

Chad lived life to the fullest and found delight in his work and in everyday life. He enjoyed traveling and encouraging others to sample a wide variety of cuisine. He had a passion for his children and strived to pass along his joy of motors, music, and love of God. Chad left this earth surrounded by the respect and admiration of his loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Chad is survived by his wife, Ashley Whisenant; sons, Ryder and Nolan Whisenant; parents, Danny and Judy Whisenant; maternal grandfather, Sherman Hope; father and mother-in-law, Steve and Kim Beck; brother and sister-in-law, Jonathan and Lacy Beck; Grandparents-in-law, Marylou and Rayburn Clark, and Elizabeth Beck; two nieces; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Ann Hope, and his paternal grandparents, Windell and Pat Whisenant.

Danny and Judy I am so very sorry to hear of Chad’s passing. I know how much you loved that sweet boy. I have included y’all in my prayers. Praying that his life will bring the precious memories I know you all share when you think of him.

Chad was one of the kindest people I’ve ever known. I will always remember his gentle spirit and the love and care he had for others. My heart goes out to his dear parents, his loving wife and his precious children. May God grant you peace that passes understanding and comfort that only He can provide. In Jesus’ name, Amen 🙏🏼

Chad was an amazing, amazing father. I had the privilege of being Ryder’s preK teacher, Chad would bring him into class and make sure Ryder was just so before actually leaving him for the day, Chad would not leave him knowing that Ryder was having an “off” morning he would stay the extra time to make sure Ryder was comfortable, he sure took pride in being a father and Ryder was his pride and joy!! 🩵

I’m so sorry to hear of Chads passing. He was loved by many. I have such fond memories of him growing up. I pray the Lord holds you in his arms at this time and comforts you as only he can.

Meeting Chad was a blessing because he was such an awesome friend I’ve gotten to know over the almost two years. We met at the premier Martial Arts dojo in 2021, his son Ryder and my Daughter Amaya both are on the demo team…. During class Chad and I would spend time talking about God, his work and how well the kids were doing with their martial arts routine every week, I remember once we were sitting and talking and we looked over because we heard a kid squealing, come to find out it was my niece who is also on the Demo Team, had Ryder in a headlock while my daughter softly punched Ryder in the belly. Chad and I started laughing and I apologize for my girls ganging up on him….. Chad looked at me laughing and said “nah I’m not worried, you should see him and his brother at home” and laughed even more…. I am going too miss our conversation and the laughs, Chad until we see you again brother R.I.P love the King Family.

Our hearts are broken from the loss of Chad on this side of heaven while our hearts also rejoice in his presence of our God. We love you all so much and can't imagine the heart ache each of you are feeling. Chad left such a beautiful legacy to his precious boys. Praying that God provides abundantly & fills this void. Such a beautiful young man he helped me so much with my insurance and my Medicare stuff he was so helpful and patient! We had just had a 1 hour conversation not that long ago he was probably going crazy with 3 old people but he was talking to ! But he made us laugh and he was so smart in all he would say my friend that never knew him loved him by the time we got off the off!! I know I will see him again someday! Chad had a smile that would melt your heart. He had a gentle spirit and always a kind word. He was meticulous about that Jeep and was so proud of it …He was a great dad to his boys and loved them and Ashley and his family passionately. We have loved Chad since he was a child in our Church..always polite and kind and respectful. He will be greatly missed Love to his family Smitty and Sandy Smith
