Please sign the virtual guestbook and also share your comforting words of support and favorite memories of Cameron by selecting the noted icon.Cameron J. Kitten was born on October 16, 1993, to Philip and Carla Kitten in Lubbock, Texas. He quickly captured their hearts along with his doting big sister, Courtney, and all those in his extended family. He grew up in the Dallas/Fort Worth area graduating from Ponder High school in 2012. His Lubbock roots and love for Texas Tech called him home, where he successfully pursued further studies and a career as an agricultural pilot. His infectious smile shined brightly when he was flying, and his ambitions to pursue new piloting opportunities had no limit. He recently completed his multi-engine certification and was planning his future with Makenzie White, whom he became engaged to last December. So many people have been touched and uplifted by Cameron and the way he lived life fully, loved unconditionally, gently quieted the storms, and recognized that while we all falter, we are each a child of God who is given a light to shine and a heart to inspire.Cameron didn’t exist on this earth to be right but to do right – right by the Lord, his family, friends, and strangers who he openly embraced. He was faithful, dependable, and a trusted son, brother, and friend to all. While Cameron left this earth far too soon, his spirit and beautiful legacy remain. It is his gift to all of us to not to leave with a broken heart but instead to fill your hearts with compassion and make a choice every day to love deeply, listen intently, hug hard, laugh freely, breathe in goodness, embrace the beauty of a blue sky, and never miss the opportunity to make a stranger smile. Fly high and be the wind that carries the wings of others.Survivors include his mother, Carla Robinson Kitten; father and step-mother, Phillip and Brendi Kitten; sister, Courtney Ellis and husband David; grandfathers, Carl A. Robinson and Alvin Kitten; and fiancée, Makenzie White. And his reliable companion, a blue heeler named “Gus.”He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Agnes Kitten and Gay Robinson, who are hugging him tightly above.
