Brayden Dane Hendricks passed away on December 3, 2019. The family will host a time of fellowship and remembrance from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, December 8, 2019, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. We will celebrate his life of 20 years at 10:00 am on Monday, December 9, 2019, at Lake Ridge Chapel. Friends are invited to share memories and expressions of sympathy for the family to cherish in the area below the obituary.Brayden Dane Hendricks was born June 11, 1999 in Lubbock, Texas. He was a long-awaited gift and joyously received by his family. From day one, Brayden had a heart of gold and was a ball of fire! His quirky ways and antics left many funny stories and memories for his family to share for years to come.Brayden went to Smith Elementary, Irons Middle School, Sharp Academy and Richard Milburn Academy. He worked at Racer Classic Car Wash for the last year and a half. He loved his job and would tell his family daily the people he saw that day! He was very proud of his job and loved his co-workers.Brayden attended Hillside Christian Church. He enjoyed going to summer church camp several years and was so very excited to be baptized!!He was preceded in death by his father, Brice Darren Hendricks, sister Chloe Nicole Hendricks, and paternal grandparents, Paul and Joyce Hendricks.Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Ronda and Robert Proffitt of Lubbock; siblings, Heather Hendricks, Brooke Hendricks and Brittney Hendricks, all of Lubbock, Hunter Proffitt of Austin, Anson Proffitt and Anzlee Proffitt of Lubbock; maternal grandparents, Ron and Paula Clark of Lubbock, paternal grandparents, Dave and Anh Sprengelmeyer of Austin; aunts and uncles – Loyd and Dena Cator of Perryton, Carey and Keri Gassaway of Austin, James and Wendy Fulvi of St. Petersburg, Florida, Richard and Andrea Proffitt of Austin; cousins – Coby, Kayla and Collin Cator, Chase Cator, Will Cator, Haylee Cator, Riley Anderson, Sam Anderson, Chandler Gassaway, Braxtyn Gassaway, Maverick Fulvi and Nyla Fulvi; nephews and niece – Klayton Konklin, and Sebastian and Madilyn Green; girlfriend, Trinity Kenyon and family – David, Stacey, and Alex Kenyon; and last but certainly not least, his very special friend and mentor, Bruce Scott.At the age of 16, Brayden was introduced to and is survived by his birth family – Biological parents, Ashley Abshier and Phillip Crawford; Maternal Grandmother Jeri Mitchell; brothers – Brycen Hall, Jayce McReynolds, and Brendon Crawford; sisters – Allegra Birdwell and Aliyah Crawford.
