June 14, 1979 - November 27, 2017

Brandon Clay Murphrey was born in Lubbock, TX, on June 14, 1979, to Royce and Wanda (Cornett) Murphrey. He attended Lubbock schools and graduated from Lubbock High School in 1998. He married Tiffany Green on February 16, 2002. Brandon worked various jobs and worked several years as a security officer for South Plains Security and Patrol.Brandon was a Christian and member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lubbock. He has now won his battle with MS of several years. Brandon was a long time member of the Lubbock Elks Lodge.He was preceded in death by his wife, father, maternal grandparents, A.B. and Virginia Cornett; and paternal grandparents, Jarrell and Ellen Murphrey.Brandon is survived by his mother, Wanda; brother, Brent and sister-in-law, Vaun; nephews, RJ and Randy Murphrey all of Lubbock; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
