Bonnie Kathleen Bailey

Kathleen Bailey was born on September 29th, 1921 in Cotton Center, Texas to the late Leander and Nana King.  She had one brother, Carl King, (deceased).  Kathleen married Ray Bailey on October 24th, 1941 in Los Angeles, California.  Their union was blessed by the following children; Michael Allen of Fort Worth, Texas, Carl Ray of Alexandria, Virginia, Cindy Kay (deceased), Timothy Lee of Roswell, N.M., Terri Dianne of Belton, Texas, Deborah Kay of Carlsbad, New Mexico, and Robert Stanley of Wolfforth, Texas.  

She and Ray served the Lord in ministry for almost 50 years in Texas, New Mexico and New Jersey.  Her life was a ministry of hospitality and she embodied selfless service to others.  Her home was always open to friends and family as well as strangers. She prepared countless meals and had a passion for teaching and caring for children.  

Privileged to be her grandchildren are: Phillip (deceased), Christopher, Laura, Caroline, Steven, Ben, Katy, Tyler, Jacob and Rachael, as well as 8 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, Kathleen would have liked for memorials to be made to Lakeview Christian Home at 1905 W. Pierce Street in Carlsbad, NM  88220.
