Davis Family: So sorry that Coach is gone. Your whole family changed my life for the better as well as countless others. A philosophy that I adopted from Coach Davis is: “Somebody is going to win that damn thing, it might as well be us”. I recall this every time the odds are not in my favor. All the love in the world.. Thank you Coach Davis for believing in me. -Jesse Hilliard, FHS Class of 1985.

My dad, GC. Graves coached Bobby Davis at Plainview High in 1955. He came by our house one time when we were living at Hart , Tx . Bobby was coaching at Wilson High School at that time. My dad thought alot of Bobby. He was a good man.

Coach Davis came to talk to our 7th grade off-season class towards the end of the 1970-1971 school year. He had just been selected as head football coach and athletic director for the Bold Gold. I wasn't a very good athlete at all, and was considering quitting athletics altogether. His encouragement persuaded me to stay in, and to never give up on my dreams. I have carried that encouragement with me to this day, encouragement that has carried me through the toughest of times. Thank you, Coach, for believing in me.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
