Bernie Keith Goyne was born in Amherst, TX on September 30, 1946, Bernie called Lubbock, TX home since 1968. A retiree since 2009, Bernie dedicated his working years to the craft of tool and die making at Industrial Molding Company.
Bernie’s impact extended far beyond the workplace; he was a devoted member of Quaker Avenue Baptist Church, where he shared his faith as a Sunday School teacher and served as a Deacon. An avid outdoorsman, Bernie found solace in fishing and camping, and his workshop was a sanctuary for his tinkering spirit. Known for his kind and giving nature, Bernie never hesitated to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed.
Bernie is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Goyne, his children, Lucretia (Michael) McCutcheon and Matthew (Janet) Goyne, grandchildren, Bryce (Meagan) Goyne, Preston (Cassie) Goyne, Colton (Brittany) Coons, Brendan (Rachael) McCutcheon, Bree (Samuel) Naugher, Collin (Kay) McCutcheon, and Katelyn (Ricardo) McCutcheon; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Coy (Stella) Goyne; along with nieces and nephews. Together, they will carry forward his legacy of love, generosity, and compassion.

Bernie, 77, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, peacefully departed this world on July 16, 2024.
