The family of Ben Vasquez is gathering to recite the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM, Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. A service to celebrate his life of 46 years is scheduled at 10:00 am, Monday, February 13, 2023, at Southcrest Baptist Church, followed by a graveside service at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery. He died on Wednesday, February 8, 2023.

Ben was born June 4, 1976, to Manuel and Leticia Vasquez in Lubbock, TX.  Ben had a strong love and believed in God. He was a dedicated father.   Maverick was the love of his life.  Everything he did was for Maverick.  Maverick was all he spoke about, and he was so proud of him.  He was a very caring person, with a big heart, and would do anything for anyone.  He was a successful paving contractor along with his brother David, for Atmos Energy. He had a strong interest in guns, and he became involved in planning shooting competitions.  He had a love for music, his band, his musician brothers, and his fans.

Ben is survived by his parents, Manuel, and Leticia Vasquez; son, Maverick Vasquez; siblings, David (Amy) Vasquez; numerous other family members and countless beloved friends.

Ben is preceded in death by his grandparents, Raul and Juanita Caballero, and Manuel Vasquez Sr.
