The family of Annette Diaz will gather to recite the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers, followed by a time of visitation. Mass will be celebrated in honor of Annette’s life of 50 years at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 24, 2022, at San Ramon Catholic Church. We invite you to view the live-streamed rosary and mass. On October 26, 1971, Annette was born to Heliodoro “LoLo” and Margaret Diaz.
Annette graduated from Lubbock Cooper High School. Through the years, Annette enjoyed being at home with her mom and her dog Odie. She loved her Lifetime movies. She also loved watching her favorite sports teams Texas rangers, Texas Tech, and Dallas Cowboys. Annette loved to watch boxing. Canelo Alvarez was her favorite. Much of her time was spent reading and playing games on her phone. Music soothed her soul and made her so happy. Many times, you would hear the likes of Selena, George Strait, Garth Brooks, Massore, and countless others blaring from her room.
Annette was blessed to be able to travel to many places. Some of her favorite places she visited were Las Vegas, NV, Destin, FL, Orlando, FL, Grand Canyon, and many others.
The family would like to thank her team of Drs, nurses, PT staff, and all her medical team that were involved in her care, we appreciated the Compassionate care you provided during her illness.
Survivors include her mother, Margaret Diaz; siblings, Monica, and her husband, Dr. Pat Shovlin III, Gabriel Diaz, and his wife, Rudy Salas, Laura, and her husband, Jose Mora; nieces and nephews, Tabitha Piseno, Patrick Shovlin IV, Allegra Mora, Anna Shovlin, Adriana Mora, Zack Salas; uncles and aunts, Dennis Perez, Mary H. Perez, LaLa Sanchez; many cousins and friends; and her beloved fur baby, Odie.
Annette was preceded in death by her father, Heliodoro “LoLo” Diaz.
