Obituary

The family of Alison Robinson will celebrate her life of 47 years at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 27, 2021, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Her family will host a time of fellowship and remembrance from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. She passed on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. We invite you to view the live-streamed service, sign her virtual guestbook, and download her memorial keepsake folder to your device for printing here on this page. We also ask that you consider viewing her Life Tribute, a video of photographs set to her favorite music.

On April 27, 1974, Alison was born to Brian and Sharon Lehnert Ashburn in Denver City, TX.  She lived in Plains, Tx until 1983 when her family moved to Slaton, TX. She graduated from Slaton High School in 1992. After graduation, she swiftly moved to Lubbock, TX to attend Texas Tech University where she received a B.B.A. in Marketing in 1997.  She married her former husband, Shane Robinson the following June and moved to Dallas, TX. In 1998 she returned to Texas Tech to begin her M.B.A. In 1999 she moved to Gig Harbor, WA, while Shane served in the military. She returned to Lubbock, TX in 2001. She worked in sales until she graduated from Texas Tech in 2004 with her M.B.A. in 2004. She worked for The Lubbock Apartment Association from 2004 till 2007. From 2007 until her passing she worked at Morgan Stanley as a Financial Advisor.

Alison had a great many joys in her life including spending time with her children and grandchild, going to music festivals and concerts, having a variety of small, odd-looking pets, getting her siblings on board for things they weren’t sure about, but had a good time doing anyway and having a wide circle of friends. She had few regrets, two being never getting her pet pig and tiny goat.

Survivors include her children, Jordan Ashlyn Robinson and Jayden Mackenzie Robinson; grandchild, Hayden Robinson; parents, Brian and Sharon Ashburn; siblings, Austin Ashburn and Heather Ashburn (Larry Pirkle); nephew, Rhett Pirkle; aunt, Sandy Hanna; and grandmother, Alice Lehnert; and many other family members and friends she considered family.
