Alicia was born June 1, 1952 to Patricio and Juanita Dominguez Cruz in San Antonio, TX.

She had 10 siblings; Thomas, Patricio, Yolanda, Dolores, Fernando, Juanita, Antonia, Sylvia, Albert and Robert.  She met the love of her life Ruben Hinojosa, in the summer of 1981 in Lubbock, TX.  They married on December 21, 2001 and have been together 42 wonderful years.

Her favorite pass times were BBQ’s with family, listening and dancing to Tejano music.  Her biggest enjoyment was to focus on having fun and building relationships with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She especially got excited watching them play sports or hearing how they were all doing and growing.  Alicia was a member at Iglesia Bautista Urbana Church and loved her Jesus.  Alicia retired from LISD Sodexo and loved the staff and the students.  Alicia also had many friends, she was well loved by them and will be terribly missed by all.  She was a mom/grandma figure to everyone and was eager to help all.  Her big heart, sassiness and sense of humor will never be forgotten.

Alicia is survived by her husband, Ruben Hinojosa; children, Annette (Rudy) Torres, Joe (Josephine) Cruz, Christina (Scott) Stofel, Lindsey Hinojosa; grandchildren, Amanda Cruz, Valentin Baca, Mariah Torres, Giselle Torres, Malorie Stofel, Jordan Stofel, Addison Puga, Jazlyn Deleon, Valerie Rivera, Jennifer Mata; great-grandchild, Ayden Espino, Avayah Ramirez, Elliana Hernandez , Griffin Fritz, Maddie Mata, Pete Mata, Lulane Rivera.

She is preceded in death by parents, Patricio, and Juanita Cruz; brothers, Patricio Cruz JR, Fernando Cruz and Albert Cruz, daughter, Irma Hinojosa; grandchild, Loraine Arredondo.
