When Alice was around six years old, the family relocated to Spearman in the Texas Panhandle. While growing up, Alice thoroughly enjoyed the time she spent barrel racing. She also enjoyed her years playing the flute in the marching band. Alice completed her education at Spearman High School, graduating in 1975, and went on to marry the love of her life, Joe Neil Jennings, on July 5 that same year. Joe and Alice eventually settled just down the road in Perryton, TX, where they raised their children Trevor and Lela. While her children were growing up, Alice was a homemaker who dedicated her time to cooking for, loving, serving and supporting her husband and children in all things. Having received her cooking talents from her mother, Alice was known at Joe’s work, at her church, by her family, and across town as an amazing cook. As her children became involved in sports and church, Alice was in attendance at every sporting event and helped lead and direct most of the youth church activities. After Joe passed away and her children grew up and moved out, Alice relocated to Lubbock, TX in preparation for the birth of her first grandchild. She worked from her home as an investor and enjoyed having the freedom to travel and spend time with her parents as they approached their golden years. Alice was a devoted daughter who would help and serve her parents in all ways possible, a loyal and loving wife, a doting mother who loved her children unconditionally, and an extremely proud grandmother.Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Tom & Barb Reger, and her husband, Joe Jennings. Survivors include her daughter, Lela Vela and husband Rafael, son, Trevor Jennings and wife Toni; grandchildren, Novy Vela, Ethan Jennings, Merek Vela, Kaidon Jennings, Mason Jennings, and Calun Vela; and brothers, Tommy Reger, Jr., and Rick Reger and wife Eva Mae.
