Ada Mae Williams passed away peacefully at home in Tyler, Texas, after a lengthy illness, Friday, December 22, 2017.Ada Mae was born on December 6, 1936 to Floyd and Mattie Landers in Paint Rock, Texas. On May 27, 1954, Ada married the love of her life, Donald Williams in Lubbock, Texas. She was resident of the Lubbock community from 1950 until 2015, when she moved to Tyler, Texas. Ada was an active member of South Park Baptist Church in Lubbock; and the Lubbock Bowlers Association. She enjoyed traveling, bowling, fishing, camping in the mountains, and reading.Survivors include her husband, Donald D. Williams; children, Gary D. Williams and wife, Karen; Teresa Beaty and husband, Les; and Judy Bruer and husband, Robert “Bob”; grandchildren, Jessica Chisholm and husband, Jon; Amy Smith and husband, TJ; Whitney Mayfield; great-grandchildren, Bryson Don Smith, Isla Grace Weidner; sisters, Laura White, Alice Landers.She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Mattie Landers; siblings, Clyde and J.W. Landers; and Lavern Brown.
