So many memories that I will forever treasure. In the three years we have lived in Texas, she made a significant contribution in our lives. I know I will see her again someday. LOTS of LOVE to all those she left behind. Thank you for the wonderful gift of knowing her too!

It was my grandma where I first experienced the depth someone's faith in Christ. Then Vicki came into my life, she was a beautiful woman of strong faith and onery side that captured my heart. As I read her testimony's it only broadened my view of what the Lord has in store for us here on earth and with Him in Heaven. Thank you for that my friend. Prayers for the family as they find their way through the days to come. Peace like a river.

To the family of my beloved and dear friend Vickie. My heart aches for you as well as myself. To her mom, husband, children, siblings and family, i feel your pain. Vickie was my classmate and a very dear friend to me. No matter what she faced, she always kept a smile on her beautiful face and we encouraged each other. She was a very strong lady, a gem in her own right and I am truly going to miss her. Especially our talks. My heart and prayers go out to each of you for I know this is not easy to bear. One of my best memories of her was singing "I Will Always Love You" at Morton graduation. Not a dry face anywhere. She had the most beautiful voice and her laugh was infectious as well as her smile. Continue to lean on God for He will be your strength. And to my loving friend Vickie, this is not goodbye but see you soon. I will love you Forever. Gone Too Soon. Friends Always. Class of ' 86

Vicki was truly a spiritual warrior. She had such a faithful outlook on her life and knew she would meet her maker on earth or eternity . She fought hard and pushed herself to get back to church and to her Sunday school class. We’ve been going to the same church for along time and truly enjoyed hearing her sing throughout the years . She will be missed and I pray God wraps Kyle, sandy and Eric and Linda in his love, comfort and peace ✝️💜💟🙏🏼the Portwood Family

Vickie took care of my wife, Nelda, when she was fighting cancer 15 years ago. Vickie was always so kind and sweet. Vickie and Nelda shared much in their talks to one another. This is unbelievable to say the least that Vickie is gone. My prayers for her husband and family.

As I posted on her page, Vicky & I started Kindergarten together. It was the first time I had been away from my parents & I was crying uncontrollably. Vicky came up to me & said, "It's ok, me & you are gonna be friends & have lots of fun together. " She grabbed my hand & steered me to the desks & chairs & we sat there & colored. It was exactly what I needed to feel safe & secure. She had that effect on people & she loved everyone equally & treated them as such. I have seldom met anyone who was kinder, friendlier or more patient with all of humankind. We graduated high school together, started working at the hospital around the same time & then went to Nursing school together at South Plains College. She & I & another friend, Connie West, at the time, car-pooled together & many times when it was my day to drive, I would accidently pick the keys in my car & we had to wait for Phil Martin to unlock it or bring an extra key. It was a definite inconvenience for the three of us & often got to class late but Vicky just laughed it off & never got upset. She always made the best of it, as did Connie. Those were some of my fondest memories. Vicky was a special soul, who had the greatest love for our Lord Jesus Christ. I will miss her always & remember her sweet smile & wonderful voice when she sang. To Kyle, Eric & Sandy, my hope is that God brings you the peace & healing that you need. As for my beautiful friend, Vicky, I know she is showering the other Angel's with Love & singing the praises of her friends & family to Jesus. I know how much she continued to miss her Daddy & she has now been reunited with him. To Linda, I can only offer you my deepest condolences, but you have a great family that will continue to support you in every way. May God's blessings continue to rain down on everyone that she loved. Liz Rodriquez

my fondest memories was the Webb family living down the road from us. Oh what fun they had and they still talk about it today! we lost an angel today, She was so decaded to her life service in nursing. She visited Gary and I when he were there. words cannot express my sorrow I feel for you today but we do love you guys and will continue our prayers for you all.

Vickie touched so many lives in the very best way. We are grateful to have known her As our dear sweet friend of many years. Vickie will be missed by many and remembered for years to come. She was one of a kind. There are no words but know that you are all in our thoughts & Prayers now and in the weeks to come.

Due to being out of town we will be unable to attend but I would like everyone to know about the utmost respect that I have for this lady One of the finest examples of a Cristian that I have ever known and a great friend who will be missed

I found this picture if Vickie and I. It was around 1981. We dressed up for the Halloween carnival in Morton. This brought back such great memories. My siblings and I spent some of our summer days down the road at Vickie's house. We had forts from the old wooden houses. We would pick teams. The dirt clods were made and thrown. Terry would pick on us constantly. Our childhoods growing up 6 miles west of Morton were the best times of our lives. The Webb family helped make those memories. A very special family. Vickie was an Angel on earth and now one in heaven. I pray for her wonderful family who she loved so much. I love yall Kim Lyon Sanders 🌹

Vickie and I grew up in the same town (Morton), but never met. First time I met her, she was selling a recliner, I went to look at it, and met her husband and her mom, realized our parents had known each other in Morton! But we became friends on Facebook and I always loved reading her posts, always about her love for God!! I will always remember her and will miss her! She was a beautiful person inside and out. RIP Vickie!🙏❤️

Vickie was one of a kind. I always knew she was there for me if I needed anyone to talk with or cry with. Her smile was infectious and she loved her family fiercely. I know she is in Heaven and seeing the most beautiful sites and singing in the choir or knowing Vickie she might be leading the choir. She had so much talent and always amazed me. There will always be a whole in my heart. She touched so many lives and will be missed by so many. I love you Vickie and will see you again someday.

Vickie was a compassionate nurse. I knew her from Covenant. I remember when I was diagnosed with breast cancer and walked into JACC for my initial appointment. There was Vickie. She explained what I should expect and what the process was. She cried with me but made me feel confident that I was at the right place for treatment. I will always remember the calming sense Vickie brought to me. Prayers to her family for peace during this time of loss.

You are all in our prayers and may God give you strength with the passing of Vickie. She was so loved and I cherished her as a friend.
