Zach and Michael,We are so sorry for your loss.I can remember seeing your Dad at all the Little League games watching as, you, Zach, pitched and played. Then through High School too. I am sure he did the same for Michael. Even though we did not know him well, through you two we gain a sense of a caring father, who did his best for his children. We keep you in our thoughts and prayers. May good memories help to each your hearts Take care,Tom, Susan, and Sam

I would like to add one thing to Beaver's obituary- he was a great friend! I don't know if anyone could have as much fun as we crammed into 2 years of high school and 1 year of college before our paths in life took us in opposite directions. We were inseparable our junior and senior years of high school and were known to do anything and everything we could possibly do together that included fun! I would be remiss if I didn't include a small list of those activities: how about the students in Coach Brewer's World Geography class that got to see all those wonderful 16mm movies Beaver and I got to pick each morning so Coach could do whatever it was he did all class, we could have written a manual on how to keep those film reels working properly, by the way we both made A's in that class!! Then there were all the double dates we went on with those Monterey Babes on Friday and Saturday nights. I can't list all the pranks we pulled in our various classes, not sure if the statute of limitations for high school pranks has passed. I will tell you none of those pranks took place in Coach Michalka and Coach Knight's basketball practices. When Freeman's opened downtown our senior year I can assure you John Travolta had nothing on Beaver and J.C.'s dancing skills. I'll never forget all the fun we had doing that with the lighted plexiglass dance floor. I could go on forever, but I trust Beaver's family was able to smile and laugh a little and maybe even remember a few other things Beaver and I did, Lord knows I was at your house enough!! My condolences to all of you. J.C. Eakin
