He passed on Friday, November 5, 2021, at his home. We invite you to view the live-streamed service on this page, sign his virtual guestbook, and download his memorial keepsake folder to your device for printing.On October 5, 1956, Bob was born to the late Joe Herman and Mary Francis (Clodfelter) Berrier in Lexington, North Carolina. Bob grew up in Winston Salem, North Carolina. He attended Appalachian State University and was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He met his wife there, and they married on May 19, 1979, in Cherryville, North Carolina. Together, with a career with R. J. Reynolds Tobacco, they moved to Houma, LA, followed by Albuquerque, NM, where his children were born. Moving again to Amarillo, TX and Broken Arrow, OK, the Berriers finally settled in Lubbock, TX.Together, they spent their time attending Texas Tech and high school sporting events, racing in local motocross events, and attending Redeemer Church.Bob enjoyed telling Dad jokes, traveling around the United States in their motorhome, NASCAR, and The Andy Griffith Show, but one of his greatest loves was his granddaughter, Elizabeth. As her Pop-Pop, he spent his time laughing and playing with her at home.Survivors include his wife, Melissa Berrier; their children, Julie (Nick) Eyhorn of Lubbock, and David Berrier of Kannapolis, ND; granddaughter, Elizabeth Jane Eyhorn; and sisters, Martha (Jerry) Katz, Patty (Scott) Grove, Joey (Frank) Carothers, and Fran (Leroy) Sutphen.But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body. Philippians 3:20-21.He will be greatly missed but is finally whole after a tough battle with ALS.
