Patty Gailey

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Patty Gailey, who left us on April 24^th, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on February 27, 1932, Patty was a beloved Nana, mother, and friend who touched the lives of many with her kindness, humor, and unwavering spirit.

She enjoyed church activities, singing, sewing, and cooking great meals for her family and others. She was known for her love of people, her family, and her church; her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Lori Gilbertson of Arlington, Lesa Thames (David) of Levelland, and Mike Loyd (Kathy) of Oklahoma City. She leaves behind six grandchildren: Reagan Held (Buck), Oklahoma City; Paige Loyd-Shelton (Matthew), Oklahoma City; Justin Wood (Holly), Lubbock; Sarah Carlisle, Lubbock; Jordan Wood (Elise), Lubbock; and Bryce Gilbertson, Dallas. Also left to cherish Nana’s memories are 13 great-grandchildren.
