The family of Patricia Rogers will celebrate her life of 85 years at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. She passed on Friday, February 11, 2022. She graduated from Levelland High School and married Kirby Rogers [Patricia Ann Bowman] in Levelland, Texas in 1954.  Patricia married Buttons Williams in 1996.  She graduated from Texas Tech in 1965 with a BS in Education with high honors and obtained her Master’s Degree in Education from Texas Tech in 1972.  She taught first grade at Cactus Elementary School in Levelland for 34 years.  She and Kirby Rogers owned and operated the Chat & Chew restaurant from 1958 to 1977.  She began playing the piano and organ at age 14 at the First Christian Church in Levelland which she continued for 62 years.  She had a reputation for writing and helped many students and peers with their writing.Survivors include her children, Kirk (Stephanie) Rogers; grandchildren, Keri Bollman, Kacie Chambers, Ross Rogers, Reese Rogers; great-grandchildren, Braden Chambers, Colin Chambers, Ellison Bollman; sisters, Judy Hunnicutt, and Barbara Gray.She was preceded in death by husband, Kirby Rogers; father, Ernest Bowman; mother, Gladys Bowman; daughter, Kim Bollman; husband, Buttons Williams.The family of Patricia Rogers would like to thank Dr. Paone, Dr. Wischmeyer, Dr. Farooq, the nurses, and staff at UMC hospital, South Plains Rehabilitation Hospital and Bridge Hospice for all their compassionate care.
