The family of Michael Trammel will celebrate his life of 67 years at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel with burial at the City of Lubbock Cemetery to follow. There will be a public viewing from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel. Golfing buddies are encouraged to wear golf clothes to the services. He was born June 8, 1954, in Lubbock, TX.Mike was very much a people person & worked several years in sales before recently retiring. He played golf every chance he got & had a special relationship with so many of his golf buddies. He also loved entertaining people by singing and playing the guitar. Mike was an avid sports fan and had a special love for Texas Tech basketball. He has a contagious sense of humor & love for life. Above everything, he loved his wife Teresa & his family and he never failed to let them know.Mike was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Edna Trammel, brother Cecil Trammel Jr., sister Rebecca Denson and sister Carol Meeks.Mike is survived by his wife Teresa, daughter Abbi (Ben) Reckner with granddaughter Emery, daughter Nicole (Seth) Walsh, son Collin ( Adrianna) Burns, son Ethan Burns, and grandson Cole. Brother Roger ( Donna) Trammel, sister Kathy (Rodney) Naylor, sister Debbie (Doug) Camfield, brother Danny (LaRonda) Trammel, brother Walter Forbes and sister Wanell Boyd. He also had many nieces and nephews. Mike was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, and will be forever missed.Golfing buddies are encouraged to wear golf clothes to the services.
