Today we received our letter from Dr. Mike’s office. We are devastated to learn of the passing of Dr. Mike. We, as well as our children, have been going to see Dr. Mike since the 90’s when his father and uncle were still part of the practice . He will be sorely missed. It was always so fun to see Dr. Mike’s sharp, colorful shirts and ties. He was always so upbeat and always had wonderful stories. Rest Easy, Dr. Mike
Just opened my letter from Lehman Dermatology and was so saddened to learn the news of Dr. Lehmans passing. I appreciated how he took care of me and how kind he and his staff were. I will always think fondly of him. Condolences to family, staff and friends.
We just received a letter from Dr. Mike's office and we are stunned and so sad to learn of his passing. Not only was he a superb doctor, but also, he was lots of fun to be around. His heart was generous and he helped me get through a rough time recuperating from an infection from a surgery performed by another doctor. Dr. Mike was one of the "good guys" all the way around! We send prayers for his family, friends and staff at the clinic. We will miss him.
Today, we learned of the passing of Mike. My husband and I are just heartbroken. He was such a genuinely, great guy with a huge heart...what a character! We always enjoyed our visits with him. Our deepest sympathy to his family and friends... Tracy (Draper) and Gary Autry, Nacogdoches, Texas
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Dear Dr. Michael Lehman, I will never forget for what you did for me, the long term laser treatment and I had no health insurance and you said “I’m going to do it for you at no charge” I will be forever grateful to you and may Heaven know how blessed they are to have you, fly high my sweet Angel. RIP you will be greatly missed 💜✝️🕊🤍
I just heard of Dr. Lehman today...I nearly fainted. Dr Lehman was such a great guy, great doctor & I will miss him!
Been using Lehman Dermatology since I was a teenager.
RIp Mike
I worked for Gisela Mueller in her outpatient therapy clinic and I assisted Dr. Lehman with his therapy exercises. It was always a "hoot filled session!" He was so funny and always had a word of advice to the other patients doing their exercises. He brought a laugh to our day and levity to our hearts. I took my son to his dermatology clinic for a consult one day and he saw us in the hallway & hollered "He doesn't need anything, he's a beautiful kid!"
He will truly be missed. It is my honor to have met him. I keep you, his family, in my prayers and pray for his eternal rest.
May his memory be a blessing 🥀Gone way too soon ! I remember Mike from medical school and his wonderful and playful sense of humor My condolences to his family, friends, patients and the community he loved .
Mikey,
You are my rock, my confidant, my sense of reasoning, and somebody I can always lean on. There are no words to say how much I miss you. I love you so much! They will not be a day that goes by that I will not think of you and I hope you were looking over me. It will get me in the right direction.
I feel grateful to have known Dr. Lehman as a patient of his since the Summer of 2006. He was very sociable and took care of various problem areas related to my skin and very knowledgeable about a disease that I was first diagnosed by another doctor at a young age when I first met him.
So sorry for your loss.
Mike was best man in my wedding 52 1/2 years ago. We were friends in high school and remained friends theses many years.
He certainly will be missed.
Dr. Mike was an amazing man. I am so sorry for your loss. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
Dr. Mike was one of the most caring, entertaining people I ever had the pleasure of knowing. He literally saved my life when I had a horrible allergic reaction to a RX. My very favorite memories of Dr. Mike are his yearly Halloween visits. He would visit our office (Wentz ortho/perio) with his staff all in costume themed outfits. We looked forward every year. Prayers to the family for your loss as I know there are no words at this time. Prayers for you all family and staff as I know you are all devastated.
Words cannot express how sorry we are for your loss. Our prayers of comfort and peace are prayed over you during this difficult time. He meant so very much to myself & my family. I had seen Dr. Lehman since I was a child & his warm smile, laughter & witty personality will remain in my heart always. We send our love & deepest condolences,

The family is in our thoughts and prayers. Dr. Mike was an amazing, fun, and unselfish individual. He made a positive impact in my life just knowing him. I pray for healing and comfort to his loved ones and thank God for sharing him with all of us in the time we had with him.
I was Dr. Mike’s patient for the past 12 plus years. I can honestly say that I loved this man and his staff. We became friends and he was always so fun to talk with. Going to the clinic was a fun day for me and he always asked what I was planning to do in Lubbock for the day (I live in NM). I am so saddened by his passing. He will be greatly missed. Please know I will be praying for his wife and the awesome staff at Lehman Dermatology.
Dr. Mike, you will be missed! I have known you since 1992, and even though I appreciated your business as a pharmaceutical rep, I cherished our freindship more than you know. It is the lunchs, dinners and the golf that meant the most to me as well as our conversations. May you rest in peace!
Evelyn, please accept our heartfelt condolences from me and my family. Dr. Mike holds a special place in our heart. With more than 30 years of cleaning the clinic, we developed a friendship, but we were more like family.
I am so sorry to hear about Mike. I met him in college as he was best friends with my former husband. I loved him from the beginning. Many years later when Jim and I could not agree on a name for our coming firstborn, Mike met us one night for dinner in Dallas. His first words were, "I know what you need to name your baby!" I was shocked he had given it a second thought. He said, "Chadwick Peel Houser"! Jim and I looked at each other and were in full agreement. And that became his name. I have not seen Mike in 30 years, but who he was as a younger man seems only to have grown into an even funnier and more loving man than I got to know. It sounds like Lubbock, Texas will really miss Mikey. I will miss knowing he is on this earth as well. God be with you Mike!
We went way back. Great pharmacist and great dermatologist. We sure had fun with your whole family. Love to your family from all the Marable’s
My deepest sympathy to the family of Dr. Mike. Although I hated to have to visit him, he always made me laugh and I enjoyed visiting with him about his family, his connections with Lynn County and the folks we knew in common. I will miss those sweet visits. Rest in Peace!

To: Evelyn Mickey, Rene' and all those that love Mike,
The loss I feel is equal to any loss I have ever experienced. I, like so many others, am saddened to my core.
Over the past hours my memories of Mike have flooded over me. The stories of Mike are innumerable and all bring smiles to my face to accompany my tears. They include so many funny and precious memories that the list is endless.
The one that sticks out most prominently to me is about his return to Lubbock upon completion of his National Guard duties at Fort Ord, CA. I accompanied Dr. Joe, Sister and the girls to the airport to greet his plane. That was followed by one of Sister's fabulous family meals at their round kitchen table. Now...any form of profanity was not permitted nor heard at the Lehman household. However, with Mike still sitting in his uniform he mistakenly forgot his present location reverting back to his military meals and unconsciously said " Pass the #£?#ing salt." The silence was deafening and the shock was apparent collectively. Mickey snickered...Rene stared at her plate... Sister gasped.... and,...well....Dr Joe...glared at Michael with his stomach bouncing like a tennis ball.
Mike shocked but trying his best to recover from his unwitting faux pas and with the most sheepish of looks and his classic smile said "What...did forget to say please?"
The silence was shattered by laughter for minutes and Dr Joe stone faced finally said "Yes you did!" The laugher once again erupted!
Life is fleeting and precious for us all. My sorrow will fade away in time but the joy added to my life by Mike and all the Lehman's since my 5th grade year will last me forever! Gad bless them all.

Dr. Mike was a dear friend to me and my entire family. We were all patients of his and he took care of us with great care and compassion. I always enjoyed seeing him and that big smile of his and he always made me laugh. We had many good golf games together at Lubbock Country Club and went on a few out of town golf trips as well. Mike was loved by many and loved many deeply. He will be sorely missed in this community. Love you MIke.
Dr. Mike was a very good friend to my late husband Vernon Paul. Dr. Mike was his physician and basketball buddy. When my husband could no longer come to the office Dr. Mike came to our home to take care of him. So sorry for your loss.
Evelyn

Dear Mrs. Lehman and family , I’m so sorry to hear about Dr. Mike . I started with Dr. Joe ( his dad ) in the 1970’s and after his passing I went to Dr. Mike so Lehman Dermatology has been just like family to us . He was so very good to me and done a lot of favors for me. You and your family are in our prayers and please accept our condolences. Also prayers to all of his nurses and office staff, for I’m sure he was the best boss and friend they could’ve ever asked for . Thank you Dr. Mike for everything and I’ll see you later .
