Mary Nell Foreman

Mary Nell was born on November 7, 1946, to the late Jimmie and Grace (Wilkins) Foreman in Comanche, TX. She grew up in Comanche and following her high school graduation she moved to Brownwood, to attend Howard Payne University. She received her bachelor’s degree from Howard Payne University and began her teaching career that spanned 34 years. Mary spent many years teaching in Sun Ray, Texas, and was well liked and respected by her students. She was an avid reader and because of her love for learning, she attended classes at Texas Tech University over the years. Mary was a sports enthusiast and a Texas Tech fan.She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Cecil Wayne Foreman, James E. Foreman, and John D. Foreman; and a sister, Laphane Weaver.Mary is survived by three sisters, Geneva Ann Holmes of Lubbock, Marilynn White of Lewisville, and Carolyn Nelson of Cotulla; along with numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
