Martina Hernandez

Martina Serda Hernandez, age 71, of Lubbock Texas, passed away peacefully on July 12th, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born with a heartful of kindness and a deep faith in God, Martina devoted her life to her family and to serving others. She’s a proud, loving mother of two sons Anthony wife Georgia Farrias and Adam Farrias, one daughter Amie Martinez. Her greatest joy came from watching her family grow, blessing her with four beloved grandchildren: Krystal, Savannah, Brittany, and Gabriel – eight great-grandchildren, each of whom brought light to her days.

Martina was also a loving sister to Gloria Guerra, Elida her Husband Roger Hearne, Nora Sanchez her husband Bernabe Sanchez. She cherished her siblings deeply, and their bond remained a source of strength and love throughout her life.

Martina was preceded in death by: her parents Maria, Gaudalupe Serda, three brothers Gaudalupe (Lupio) Jr, John, and Jesse Serda.

A woman of unwavering faith, Martina was a dedicated member of Trinity Church. She found peace and fulfillment in praise and worship always offering a kind word, warm hug, or a helping hand to anyone in need. Her gentle spirit, laughter, and resilience touched countless lives.

Martina’s legacy is one of unconditional love, faith, and grace. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those who had the honor of knowing her.

Though she has left this earthly home, Martina’s spirit lives on in the hearts of her family, friends, and in the countless lives she lifted with her kindness.
