Marsha Wells Hamlin

Marsha Lynn Hamlin, age 73, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025, in her beloved hometown of Lubbock, Texas. Born on May 25, 1952, Marsha lived a life full of passion, compassion, and warmth, dedicating many of her years to serving others in the health care industry as a nurse. Known for her feisty spirit, she inspired those around her with her unwavering strength and determination.

She is survived by her devoted husband, David Hamlin, her loving children, Brian Hamlin and Caitlyn Hamlin, and her adored grandchildren, Austin Hamlin and Krystalyne Hamlin along with great granddaughter Brenleigh Hampton. Marsha’s fierce spirit and caring nature touched the lives of many, and her legacy will continue through the hearts of her family and friends.

In remembrance of Marsha’s vibrant life, a visitation will take place on September 30, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers, where friends and family will gather to share their memories and support one another during this difficult time. A Celebration of Life will follow on October 1, 2025, at 2:30 PM at Lake Ridge Chapel, honoring her spirited personality and the joy she brought to all who knew her.

Marsha will be laid to rest with a graveside service at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery on October 1, 2025. Her family invites all who knew and loved Marsha to join them in celebrating her remarkable life and the love she left behind.

Marsha Lynn Hamlin will be deeply missed, but her compassionate spirit will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents Lois and Geroge Wells, and sister Brenda Gail Wells.
