Mae McKinzie Dominey

Mae McKinzie Dominey was born on April 21, 1954, to Loyd and Mildred “Mutt” Newman Jennings in Artesia, NM. John and Mae were married on March 31, 2017, after the passing of both of their spouses. Mae graduated from business college and started her career with United Supermarkets Corporate Office. She worked for them until she retired. John introduced her to goat farming, where she fell in love with raising and selling pygmy goats. She loved seeing and spending time with her grandkids.

Mae is survived by her husband John Dominey; stepson, Shawn (Amy) Dominey; grandchildren, J.W. (Shelby) Gallion, Cole (Kenzie) Dominey, Dustin Dominey, Cheyanne Gallion; siblings, Jimmie (Jim) Bevers, Melvin Jennings, Dalton (Cindy) Jennings; daughter in law Vicky Jennings; and Aunt Johnie Mae Turner; and numerous other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Loyd and Mildred “Mutt” Jennings; siblings; Leland Jennings, and Ester Pauline Jennings, also proceeded in death by her first husband, Ed McKinzie, her daughter, Amanda Gallion, and nephew Chad Jennings.

She passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024.
