May God's future promises at John 5:28,29 of an earthly resurrection and Revelation 21:3,4 of no more suffering or death bring you comfort. Until that time comes, God assures us at Psalm 34:18 that he "is close to the brokenhearted" and "saves those who are crushed in spirit." So he understands your pain and grief and is eager to help you by giving you the strength you need to cope during this most difficult time. (Philippians 4:13)

Committed to her students, her colleagues, and the community. Devoted to her grandson Luke. She was never my teacher or neighbor, but someone I could always count on. Linda Klesel left a message on February 9, 2019: Coach Swetnam was more than just a coach to students at Lorenzo ISD, she was a respected teacher and friend to all. Coach was always there for those who needed her, including many HS graduates who continued contact, before and after social media , with her. Many students had their first tooth pulled by her in exchange for a dime. She also helped many students look their best when attending a special occasion . She gave her time and money to help students feel important in new clothing to compete. When students had crisis away from school she was the first to help out. Never neglecting anyone needs. Coach always went the extra mile for whatever the cause might be. She has left her footprints in our hearts and taught us life long lesson making us better people by knowing her. She will be missed. Goodbye to you Coach from your dear friends and especially me. Love you
