Rosary services for Jane Rose Duesterhaus, 72, of Lubbock, be at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers, followed by a time of fellowship and remembrance from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Celebration services will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Rhineland, Texas, followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Rhineland, Texas. She passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 21, 2020. In support of the health of her family, face coverings are mandatory while attending the service. The Rosary service will be live-streamed on this page. You are encouraged to sign the virtual guestbook and share memories and expressions of sympathy by selecting the icon.Jane Rose Albus Duesterhaus was born to Frederick and Rose Albus on March 12, 1948, in Littlefield, TX. She married Al W. Duesterhaus on August 31, 1968. Jane dedicated 41 years of service to the cotton industry and her farmers.She is survived by her husband, Al; their beloved four children, Corey and his wife DaLinda of Shallowater, TX, Brendan and his wife Stacy of Lemoore, CA, Jamey of Spade, TX, and Alisha and her husband Robby of Shallowater, TX. Jane intensely loved her “Lucky 7 “ grandchildren – Lindsey and her husband Chase Ortega, Tara, Bethany, and Camryn Duesterhaus, and Will, Len, and Wes Carlson, all of Shallowater, TX. She supported them in all their events, activities, and accomplishments.Jane was the oldest of seven children and is survived by; Fred Jr. and his wife Verla of Oklahoma Flat, TX, Joyce and her husband Alan of Mansfield, TX, David and his wife Karol of Whitharral, TX, Stanley and his wife DeDe of Comfort, TX, Jennifer and Rick of Mooreland, OK, and Anthony and his wife Amie of Whitharral, TX. Jane loved all of her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Jane also cherished being a Godmother to many wonderful Godchildren. Jane loved supporting them in their activities and events as well.Jane had a strong Catholic faith and a special devotion to our Blessed Virgin Mary. She loved fish, and to go fishing, playing card games, setting puzzles, going camping, attending horse show competitions, and organizing religious education for many years. She loved to laugh loud, love with all her heart, and give great hugs. Jane truly was a graceful woman.
