Surrounded by family, Jack Stanley Scarborough was received into Heaven on July 19, 2019 after a short, but courageous, battle with cancer. Visitation will be Monday, July 22nd from 6-8pm at Lake Ridge Chapel. From Facebook last month, I gathered all was not well with Jack last month, but I was not expecting to read of Jack's passing when I went to wish you a happy birthday on Facebook tonight, Cindy. You two were quite the welcoming pair to Ron and me after we became your Alto neighbors in 2003. You were always upbeat and sweet, and for that I am grateful. I wonder if Ron was one of the welcoming committee to Jack on 7/19. May you feel God's comforting arm around you all now and in the difficult days ahead. With love and hugs...
Mary Mag Henderson left a message on July 25, 2019: Jack has always been one of the "good guys" as long as I have known him ... over 60 years. He will be missed by all that knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with Cindy, their kids and grand kids. Jack was taken from earth too soon, but was welcomed into Heaven.
