Henry Morgan Hunt Sr.

Henry Morgan Hunt Sr. (aka Buddy) was born November 2, 1948, in Mullins, South Carolina to Henry C. Hunt and Margaret E. (Edwards) Hunt, the second of three children.  Henry C. Hunt was in the United States Navy.  Due to this, Henry M. Hunt Sr. had the pleasure of living across the nation.  He was a Boy Scout, Scuba/Salvage Diver, Surfer, and snow skier.  He learned to surf in California and to ski in Colorado.  After High school, Henry M. Hunt Sr. joined the United States Army where he served multiple tours in Vietnam and attained the rank of Sergeant (E-5).  Post military service Henry worked and subsequently retired from LP&L as a meterman.Henry M. Hunt Sr. passed away in the early morning of 8 January 2022.  He was preceded in death by his Mother Margaret Hunt (1967), his Father Henry C. Hunt (2006), his oldest sister Helen Adair (2010).He is survived by his youngest sister Diane Pankey (Washington State), his four children, Henry Morgan Hunt Jr (Georgia), Kimberly Ann Whitley (Alabama), Matthew Clifford Hunt (Texas), Jocelyn Raye Rudder (Texas), 13 Grandchildren, and three Great Grandchildren.
