Dennis Calvin Fausey, a beloved husband, father, and Navy veteran, passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 76 in Lubbock, Texas. He was born on April 4, 1947, in Fremont, Ohio, to proud parents who instilled in him a strong work ethic and a loving heart.
Dennis dedicated his life to serving others, both in his career and in his military service. He worked tirelessly as a maintenance worker for Denver City ISD, ensuring that the schools were safe and well-maintained for the students. With his warm smile and cheerful demeanor, he was loved and respected by his colleagues and the students he served.
Before his commitment to his career, Dennis served in the Navy from 1965 to 1971. He bravely faced the challenges of the Vietnam War and was honored with the Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Vietnam Service Medal for his exceptional acts of valor and heroism. His time in the Navy shaped him into a strong and resilient man, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Dennis leaves behind his loving wife, Linda Fausey, who stood by his side through thick and thin. He also leaves behind his two adoring daughters, Crystal Fausey and Cinnamon Orozco (sp. Ronnie), and four granddaughters Riley, Brynley, Kayley, and Liley, who were the light of his life. His family was the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
