Darla Jean Noey

May 1, 1960 - January 29, 2017
Darla Jean Noey was born on May 1, 1960, to Sonny Clinton and Jeanette Morris in Lubbock, TX.  She graduated from Coronado High School and Draughon’s College.  Darla received her Medication Aide certification from South Plains College and worked in private care for many years.  Darla loved caring for others and her nieces and nephews were the joy of her life.  Darla loved life, always laughing and joking with others.  Until her illness, she also loved to shop and would spend hours in the grocery store.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
 
She was preceded in death by her father, Sonny Clinton.
 
Darla is survived by her loving family, including her mother, Jeanette Morris of Lubbock; two sisters, Charlotte Duff and husband Michael of Lubbock, and Tonja Hamilton and husband Lance of Wolfforth; a brother, Jake Clinton and wife Tina of Lubbock; one nephew and five nieces; along with numerous great-nieces and nephews.
