Chris White

Chris White went to be with his Lord, Friday, January 29, 2021.  His family will celebrate his life of 94 years at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 5, 2021, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. His family will host a time of fellowship and remembrance from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers.  In support of the health of his family, face coverings are mandatory while attending the services. The service will be live-streamed at www.memorialdesigners.net, where you are encouraged to sign the virtual guest book and share memories and expressions of sympathy.On March 8, 1926, Chris was born to James and Josephine (Monteleone) White in Waco, TX. He served his country during WWII in the Navy on the USS Bairoko. Chris went on to be a successful Real Estate Broker in Lubbock.  In 1978 he married Vada Williamson, and they lived happily together for 41 years, enjoying traveling, friends, and their large family.Survivors include his wife, Vada White; children, Johnny (Sandra) White, Lisa (Gordon) Murdoch, Steve (Yue Yan) White, Christy (Bryan Matticks) Moore, Jerry (Kellie) Williamson; daughters-in-law, Jill Williamson and Kari Johnson; thirteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.Chris was preceded in death by his parents, James and Josephine White; sons, Dennis and Barry Williamson; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and nine siblings.
