He passed on Saturday, May 22, 2021. We invite you to sign his virtual guestbook and download his memorial keepsake folder to your device for printing. On July 15, 1990, Bryson Grant was born to Grant and Melissa McCarty in Lubbock, Texas. He was a beloved and treasured son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend. He had a larger-than-life personality and was limited by nothing when it came to willpower and energy to do something he set his mind to. He was extreme in his ways, and always true to himself. Bryson was there for anyone who needed him. He was a guy that any friend could rely on for advice. He was a problem solver, and creative thinker, with an analytical mind and intense intellectual capability. His ability to learn and retain information was unrivaled. It sometimes seemed that he just knew everything. He was extremely political, with conservative values that never waivered. He was witty, proud, and loving. Any situation could be made brighter with the help of his witty remarks and one-liners. He shared his love of life and made everyone around him laugh and smile. Quality was important to him, and he lived out that principle every day. He was a leader, farmer, unique, hard not to like, fun, entertaining, and a good Christian man. He touched many lives and was an influential figure in the agriculture world. He had an intense passion for farming and the growing business that he and his brother had cultivated together. Brothers through thick and thin, he was always a partner to be relied upon. Bryson’s newest interest was flying his airplane. Like everything else, he was passionate about it and loved being up in the air. He pursued it with vigor and became a diligent and great pilot. The depth of the loss of Bryson cannot be put into words. This world will simply not be the same without this sweet, loving, funny, and brilliant man.Survivors include his parents, Grant and Melissa McCarty; brother, Blayne (Molly) McCarty; nephew, Grady McCarty; paternal grandparents, Don and Donna McCarty; maternal grandparents, Royce and Barbara McFadden.
